The TAX/CRE-Luc-Hyg Vector is designed to study the CREB (cAMP Response Element Binding protein)-dependent transcriptional activity, which plays a key role in cellular responses to hormones, stress, and signals affecting gene regulation. The vector includes a luciferase reporter gene driven by a CRE-containing promoter for sensitive and quantitative analysis of CREB activation.
With a hygromycin resistance gene, it enables efficient selection of stable cell lines, streamlining experimental workflows. GFP-tagged versions are also available for transfection monitoring. Vector maps, including configurations for hygromycin or GFP selection markers, can be found in the product's image gallery.
