Nkx3-2 is a homeobox-containing transcription factor that plays a key role in the development of skeletal structures, including the formation of cartilage, bones, and joints. The Nkx3-2 luciferase reporter vector is designed to study the transcriptional activity of Nkx3-2. The vector contains an Nkx3-2 DNA consensus binding site and TA minimal promoter upstream of a firefly luciferase reporter gene, which can specifically report Nkx3-2 activity while maintaining a low basal level of transcription.
