Forkhead box F2 (FOXF2) is a transcription factor that is involved in the regulation of various cellular processes, including differentiation, development, and cell fate determination. The FOXF2 luciferase reporter vector is designed to study the transcriptional activity of FOXF2. The vector contains a FOXF2 DNA consensus binding site and TA minimal promoter upstream of a firefly luciferase reporter gene, which can specifically report FOXF2 activity while maintaining a low basal level of transcription.
The inclusion of a neomycin resistance gene in the vector allows it to be used for stable cell line selection. In addition, the vector also has a GFP-tag which can be used to monitor transfection efficiency. A map of the vector can be found in the product's image gallery.
