ATF2 EMSA (Electrophoretic-Mobility Shift Assay) kit is used for monitoring ATF2 (Activating Transcription Factor 2) DNA binding activities and activation. ATF2 is a transcription factors and it�s a member of the leucine zipper family of DNA-binding proteins. Upon activation, ATF2 can recognize and interact with the unique DNA binding sequence and form protein/DNA complex, which can be separated from free DNA due to the differences in their electrophoretic mobility in native (non-denaturing) polyacrylamide gels.
